About Winter Coat
Winter Coat is one of those quiet, simple games from the Flash era. It came out in 2008, a time when small, personal projects could find an audience with just a click. You don't fight monsters or race against a clock here. The entire game is built around a single, gentle premise.
You control a cursor, using it to browse through a wardrobe of winter clothing. Your task is to dress a character for the cold. You click on different coats, scarves, hats, and boots, trying them on one by one. The mechanics are purely about selection and combination; you see each item appear on the character as you choose it. There is no timer, no score, and no wrong answers. The pace is entirely your own, making it a calm, almost meditative experience. The game feels like thoughtfully assembling an outfit on a quiet afternoon.
