About Windows Cleaner
Windows Cleaner was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2007, a time when a single clever idea was often enough for a satisfying few minutes of play. The game didn't need a complex story or elaborate graphics; its premise was clear from the title alone.
You control a window cleaner on a suspended platform, moving it left and right with the arrow keys. Your job is to wipe every pane on the building's facade. You click or press the spacebar to scrub a window clean, watching the grimy glass turn clear. The challenge comes from the building itself. Windows suddenly swing open, forcing you to dodge or get knocked off your perch. Flower pots tumble from sills, and if they hit your platform, you lose a life. The pace is steady, but the random hazards keep you alert. It feels like a race against the building's own unpredictable rhythm, a test of simple coordination under gentle pressure.
