About Vintage Car Thief
Vintage Car Thief was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It had that simple, blocky look common to a lot of browser games from that time. The goal was straightforward: you were a thief, and you needed to steal cars.
You controlled a small character from a top-down perspective. Each level presented a parking lot or a street filled with different vehicles. Your job was to walk up to a car, avoid any patrolling guards or security cameras, and get inside. Once you stole a car, you had to drive it to a specific drop-off point, often marked on the map. The challenge came from navigating the tight layouts and timing your movements to avoid detection. If you were seen, the level would reset. The game moved at a steady pace, but the later levels required careful planning. It felt like a quick puzzle where you had to find the right path and the right moment to act.
