About Urban Wizard

Urban Wizard was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It had that simple, direct premise common to the era, where you loaded it in a browser and just started playing without much fuss. The look was typical for its time, with a side scrolling city backdrop and characters that moved with a certain Flash game stiffness.

You control a wizard in a trench coat, moving left and right across the screen. Warlocks descend constantly, and your job is to eliminate them all before they overwhelm you. You have a basic sword attack for close quarters, and you can switch to a projectile weapon for distance. The controls are straightforward, using the arrow keys to move and jump, with the mouse often handling aiming. The pace is relentless, with enemies spawning quickly to keep the pressure on. It feels like a hectic scramble to clear each wave before the next one drops in.
