About Underwater

Underwater was one of those simple matching games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complicated story or a big name behind it; it was just there, a quiet little game on a website, waiting to be clicked. You loaded it up in your browser, and for a few minutes, it was a place to be.

You control a diver who moves across a grid of tiles, each hiding a sea creature. With your mouse, you click a tile to reveal the fish or other animal underneath, then try to find its identical match elsewhere on the board. The main objective is to clear the entire grid by pairing everything up before time runs out. The mechanics are straightforward: you remember locations, and wrong guesses cause the tiles to flip back over, testing your memory. The pace is steady, but it can get tense as the board clears and the last few pairs remain hidden. It feels like a calm, focused puzzle set against a deep blue background.
