About Training Day
Training Day was one of those straightforward shooting gallery games that felt typical of the Flash era. You'd find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and spend a few minutes testing your aim. It didn't try to be anything more than a simple, focused challenge.
You control a crosshair, moving it across a static city street scene. Your job is to click on hostile targets that pop up from windows, behind cars, or on rooftops. The main objective is to eliminate all the armed enemies in each stage without hitting any civilians who also appear. This creates a constant split-second decision: shoot the gunman, but hold fire for the innocent bystander. The pacing is quick, with targets appearing for only a moment. It gets harder as more figures crowd the screen at once. The game feels like a tense exercise in precision and restraint.
