The Shield

You control a small, circular shield with a mouse, moving it around the screen to block incoming projectiles from various enemies. The main objective is to survive waves of attacks and protect a central core or target behind you. Key mechanics involve deflecting shots back at foes for extra points and managing a limited block meter that depletes with each hit, forcing you to time your defenses carefully. The pacing starts slow but builds quickly into a frantic test of reflexes, with later levels becoming quite difficult as enemy patterns grow more complex. It feels like a tense, focused exercise in precision and reaction.
