The Pumpkin

You control the pumpkin directly, moving left and right across what feels like a neighborhood street. Your main action is to jump, which you use both to navigate and to scare children who come near. The objective is to collect candy, which the kids drop when they get frightened. You have to be careful, though. Some kids will try to smash you instead of running away, so you need to avoid them or time your scares just right. The pacing is quick, with a constant back-and-forth between gathering treats and dodging threats. It feels like a tense, silly race against a bunch of hyperactive trick-or-treaters.
