About Tetris Game

You control the falling blocks, called tetriminos, using the arrow keys. The left and right keys slide a piece sideways, the up key rotates it, and the down key speeds its descent. Your job is to fit these shapes together to form solid horizontal lines. When you complete a line, it vanishes, and you earn points. The game starts slowly, giving you time to think, but the pace steadily increases as you clear more lines. The primary objective is to last as long as possible before the stack of blocks reaches the top of the playfield. Two key mechanics define the challenge. You can store a single piece for later use, a strategic decision that can save you from a tight spot. Also, clearing multiple lines at once, like a "tetris" (four lines), yields a much larger score bonus. The difficulty curve is relentless, a quiet pressure that builds until your movements become frantic. It feels like a constant, engaging puzzle where a single misplacement can unravel your careful work.
