About Tarzan Swing
Tarzan Swing was one of those simple Flash games you'd find on a school computer or a free gaming site. It came out in the early 2000s, a time when a single, clear idea was often enough for a game. You didn't need a complicated story or fancy graphics, just a character and a straightforward task.
You control Tarzan, or a figure representing him, as he swings from vine to vine. The left and right arrow keys control the swing's momentum, building up speed to launch yourself forward. When you're ready, you hit the spacebar to let go at the peak of your arc, sending him flying toward the next vine. The goal is to collect all the bananas scattered across the level while avoiding a fall. The timing for each release is tight, and missing a vine means starting over. The game moves quickly, demanding focus with each new attempt. It feels like a test of rhythm and precision, where a single mistimed key press ends your run.
