Sweet Country

You control a round, cheerful character navigating a landscape of desserts and sweets. Your basic goal is to move from left to right, collecting pieces of food like cakes and lollipops that are scattered along the path. The main challenge comes from the various monsters that patrol the stages; you have to time your jumps and movements carefully to avoid them. You can use the arrow keys to move and a space bar to spray something, perhaps a liquid or a burst of air, which seems to stun or push enemies back. The game moves at a steady clip, and the levels introduce new enemy patterns that keep you paying attention. It feels like a light, rhythmic test of your timing and spatial awareness as you hop between platforms.
