About Sun Stories

Sun Stories came out during the Flash era, a time when small, experimental games could find an audience quickly. It was a simple concept that didn't need a big studio behind it. You would find it on a portal, load it up, and just start playing.

You control a small sun at the center of the screen. Your main job is to catch the falling stars that drift down from the top. You do this by moving the sun with your mouse, positioning it under each star. Each star you collect makes your sun grow a little brighter and larger. The objective is to keep feeding it to illuminate the surrounding darkness. As you play, you also have to avoid the dark asteroids that move across the playfield; hitting one will shrink your sun. The pace is steady, not frantic, but it requires focus. The game feels calm and methodical, a quiet task of nurturing light against a slow encroaching dark.
