About Summertime

Summertime was one of those quiet, simple games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a short, interactive scene. You loaded it up in your browser, and for a few minutes, it was just you and a slice of a sunny day.

You control a young woman spending an afternoon at the beach. With your mouse, you guide her to walk along the shore, sit on the sand, or wade into the water. The main objective is simply to explore the small area and interact with the few objects present; you might pick up a seashell or watch the waves. The mechanics are basic point-and-click, with no inventory or complex puzzles. The pacing is slow, almost meditative, and there is no real difficulty or failure state. It feels like pausing for a brief, quiet moment in the middle of a busy day.
