Sub Wars

You control a small submarine, moving it left and right with the arrow keys across a dark, watery screen. Enemy ships and other submarines drift into view from the top. Your job is to shoot them down with torpedoes, fired using the spacebar. The main objective is straightforward: survive and destroy as many targets as you can. A key mechanic involves managing your depth. You can submerge deeper to avoid enemy fire, but you must also watch an oxygen meter. Let it run out and your sub is finished, so you have to surface regularly to replenish your air. The pacing is quick, with enemies appearing at a steady rate that keeps you busy. It feels like a tense balancing act, constantly weighing the safety of the depths against the need to breathe.
