About Street Wheels 2

Street Wheels 2 was one of those racing games you'd find during the Flash era, a straightforward title you could load in a browser. It came out in 2005, developed by a studio called Team6 Game Studios. The game didn't try to be a simulation; it was about quick races on city streets against other cars.

You pick a driver and a car from a simple menu, then you're on the road. The controls are basic: up to accelerate, left and right to steer, down to brake. Your main goal is to finish first in a series of races, navigating through traffic and trying to outmaneuver the AI opponents. The game has a noticeable rubber-banding effect, where rivals catch up easily if you make a mistake, which keeps the races tense until the very end. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can feel unforgiving if you hit the walls or other vehicles too often. It feels like a hectic, slightly unpredictable dash from start to finish.
