About Staggy 2
Staggy 2 was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a straightforward action title built for quick sessions. It didn't try to be more than that, and that was part of its appeal. You controlled a stag, a deer with clear and simple motives.
You move the stag through a flat, green landscape using the arrow keys. Your goal is to hunt down boy scouts. The space bar lets you attack with whatever weapon you have equipped. You start with basic antlers, but defeated scouts sometimes drop coins. These coins let you buy new weapons from a shop, things like battle axes or lightsabers, each selected with number keys. The scouts wander or sometimes shoot arrows back, so you learn to dart in, strike, and collect what they leave behind. The pace is constant, neither too frantic nor too slow, with a difficulty that feels fair for its short format. It feels like a focused, slightly absurd task you can complete in a few minutes.
