About Spill The Beans
Spill The Beans was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a few minutes of distraction, and that was its charm. You'd load it up on a site like Newgrounds or Kongregate, often between other tasks, knowing exactly what you were getting into.
You control a small character at the bottom of the screen, armed with what feels like a pea shooter. A wall of smiling, bouncing beans steadily descends from the top. Your job is to shoot them before they crush you. You click to fire, aiming your shots to break clusters and create gaps. The beans pile up if you're not careful, and you can sometimes clear a path by hitting them in the right order. The pace is steady, almost relentless, making each level a race against the creeping wall. It feels like a frantic, slightly silly scramble against an oddly cheerful tide.
