About Speed Shot

Speed Shot was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s, a straightforward arcade experience built for a quick session. It didn't have a complicated backstory or a famous developer behind it. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing.

You control a small, fast car from a top-down perspective. Your only job is to keep moving forward. The road scrolls automatically, and you use the arrow keys to weave between other vehicles and road barriers. The main objective is to survive for as long as possible while collecting small, glowing artifacts that appear along the route. These pickups add to your score, but the real challenge is the traffic. The game starts simply enough, but the pace quickens steadily, and the lanes become more crowded. You have to make constant, small adjustments to avoid a crash. The difficulty comes from that relentless forward motion, leaving little room for error. It feels like a tense, focused exercise in reaction and lane management.
