About Snow Fort Blitz
Snow Fort Blitz was one of those simple, direct games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't need a complicated backstory or a long tutorial. You just loaded it up in your browser and were immediately in a snowball fight. The game had a clear, uncluttered look that was typical for the time, focusing on the action rather than elaborate graphics.
You control a character defending a snow fort at the bottom of the screen. The moment-to-moment play is all about speed and precision. You use your mouse to aim and click to throw snowballs at an opponent across the field. Your main objective is to hit the computer opponent three times before they can do the same to you and your fort. You have to manage your throws carefully, as there's a brief cooldown between shots, and you need to lead your target to account for the snowball's travel time. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty comes from the computer's increasingly accurate returns. It feels like a tense, quick duel where a single missed shot can cost you the round.
