About Smokin Barrels

Smokin Barrels was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared in the early 2000s, a time when a quick browser game could fill a few minutes between tasks. The game didn't have a complex backstory or a famous developer behind it. It was just there, a simple title you'd click on and play.

You control a lone gunslinger, and your job is to survive waves of outlaws. The moment-to-moment play is about speed and precision. You move your mouse to aim at the cowboys as they appear from behind barrels and buildings, then click to fire. The main objective is to shoot them all before they can shoot you. You have to be quick, as they pop up and fire almost instantly. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, with more targets appearing in each round. It feels tense and immediate, a test of your reflexes more than your strategy. The experience is one of pure, frantic reaction.
