About Smash Their Stuff
You control a cursor, and your goal is to destroy everything in a room before a little character, controlled by the game, can stop you. The moment-to-moment play is a frantic race. You click and drag to break plates, topple bookshelves, and shatter windows, while this other figure scrambles to repair the damage almost as quickly as you can cause it. The mechanics are straightforward: you target objects to break them, and you must avoid letting the repairman catch your cursor, which ends your turn. The pacing is insistent, a constant back-and-forth that gets more intense as the room becomes more cluttered with broken items. It feels like a chaotic, mischievous race against a very persistent opponent.
