About Skirmish

Skirmish was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complicated story or a long tutorial. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing.

You control a single soldier from a top-down perspective. The goal is to eliminate all the enemy soldiers on each map. You move with the arrow keys, aiming and shooting with your mouse. The game gives you a few different weapons to cycle through, like a rifle and a shotgun, which you switch between using number keys or the mouse wheel. The maps are small and the enemies come at you quickly, so you're constantly repositioning and firing. It's a fast game that gets harder as you go. The experience is simple and direct, focused entirely on quick reflexes and clearing each area.
