About Skate Race
Skate Race was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a simple concept built for quick sessions between other tasks. It didn't have the polish of bigger titles, and it felt a bit like an unfinished test in some ways, but that was part of its charm. You loaded it up knowing exactly what you were getting into.
You control a skater perpetually descending a twisting, neon-lit track. The goal is straightforward: go as far down as you can without crashing. Your main tools are the arrow keys for steering left and right, dodging gaps and obstacles that appear with little warning. You collect coins scattered along the path, and sometimes grab power-ups that freeze time for a moment or award bonus stars. The pace is relentless, and the difficulty comes from the track's increasing complexity; one mistimed turn sends you tumbling. It feels like a controlled fall, a constant negotiation between speed and survival on a path that never seems to end.
