Shugo Chara Bomberman 2

You control one of the characters, moving them around a grid-based arena with the arrow keys. The moment-to-moment play is about dropping bombs with the spacebar to blast through destructible blocks and, more importantly, to hit the other characters on the screen. Your main objective is to be the last one standing, clearing the stage of all opponents. The bombs explode in a cross-shaped pattern, so positioning and timing are everything; you have to trap enemies while avoiding getting caught in your own blasts or those of others. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty comes from the increasingly crowded field as bombs and fire fill the space. It feels like a frantic, condensed version of a party game, where a single mistake can end your round.
