About Shooting Pou

Shooting Pou was one of those simple physics games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be complicated. You just loaded it up in your browser and started flinging a little round character across the screen. The game had a straightforward charm that fit right in with other casual titles from that time.

You control the launch of a character named Pou. Using your mouse, you click and drag back on a slingshot to set your angle and power, then release to send Pou flying. The main goal is to hit a target, often a basket or a similar marker, with each shot. You can select different versions of Pou before launching, which might change its appearance or perhaps its weight, affecting the arc of your throw. The game moves quickly from one attempt to the next, and getting the right force and trajectory requires a bit of trial and error. It feels like a quick test of your intuition for how things move through the air.
