About Sentry Fortress

Sentry Fortress was one of those straightforward tower defense games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a solid way to spend a few minutes, and it succeeded at that. You would load it up on a browser, and the simple graphics and clear objective were immediately familiar.

You control an engineer who runs around a small, fixed map. Your main job is to build and repair automated sentry guns to stop waves of robots from reaching your base. You use the mouse to aim and shoot your own pistol, which feels weak but is necessary in a pinch. Most of your time is spent hammering your sentries with a wrench to keep them from breaking, while constantly checking the top-right menu to place new ones or scrap old defenses for parts. The pace is relentless; you are always moving, always repairing, as the enemy count grows. It feels like a frantic race against the clock, where a single misplaced turret or a missed repair can end the round.
