About Self Storage
Self Storage was one of those physics-based puzzle games that felt right at home in the Flash era. You'd find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and be stacking boxes within seconds. It had that simple, immediate quality common to many games from that time.
You control a crane arm, moving your mouse to position it over an endless supply of crates. Clicking grabs a box, and moving the mouse again swings it into place on a growing, precarious tower. The boxes rotate freely while suspended, so you have to account for their shifting weight and odd shapes. The main goal is straightforward: build your stack as high as you can without letting it topple. The challenge comes from the increasingly unstable foundation and the physics that make every new placement a calculated risk. It starts calmly but demands more precision as your tower sways. The game feels like a quiet test of patience against gravity's persistent pull.
