About Scope Assault
Scope Assault was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s, a time when a browser could become a quick arcade. It didn't have a complicated backstory or a famous studio behind it. You just loaded it up and were immediately given a task.
You control a sniper's crosshair, moving it with your mouse across a static image of a building. Your job is to click on every hostile target you see in the windows before the sixty-second timer runs out. The mechanics are simple but require a sharp eye; you must distinguish armed figures from civilians or other objects, and a wrong click penalizes your score. The pace is relentless from the first second, with the clock ticking down audibly, pushing you to scan faster. It feels like a tense, focused test of observation and speed under pressure.
