About Santas Rubix
Santas Rubix was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. It was just a simple, timed puzzle that fit right into that era of quick browser games.
You control Santa, or rather his cursor, as you click and drag colored blocks on a grid. The main goal is to match three or more identical blocks in a row before a three-minute timer runs out. Each match clears those blocks and scores points, with the objective being to make as many toys, which represent your score, as possible. The game encourages you to try a practice mode first, which is good advice because the blocks fill in from the bottom. If you don't clear them quickly, the grid can become cluttered and end your run early. The pacing is consistently urgent, making you plan your moves a few steps ahead to keep the board manageable. It feels like a race against a filling grid as much as it is against the clock.
