Salvo Xmas

You control a small character, often a snowman or a similar festive figure, at the bottom of the screen. Your goal is to survive waves of enemies that descend from above. You move left and right, using a single action, likely the 'A' key, to attack or smash them. The key is to hit the enemies while carefully avoiding the bombs that fall among them. Sometimes, you can trigger a bomb when it's near a group of foes, which clears the screen and grants a score bonus. The pace is fast, and the difficulty comes from managing the increasing number of targets and hazards. It feels like a tense, rhythmic exercise in timing and spatial awareness.
