Rural Racer

You control a small car from above, steering it around a looping dirt track. The main goal is to complete eight laps before a computer opponent does. You use the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and turn, while holding the shift key gives you a short speed boost. The handling is loose; your car slides on the turns, so you learn to brake early and time your boosts on the straightaways. The opponent is consistent, and the challenge comes from managing your slides and boost fuel to shave seconds off each lap. It feels like a quick, slippery test of cornering.
