About Rough Ride

Rough Ride was one of those physics-based bike games that popped up during the Flash era. You'd find it on gaming portals, a simple title to kill a few minutes between other tasks. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward stunt challenge.

You control a rider on a motocross bike. The core action is balancing. You tap the up and down arrow keys to tilt the bike forward or back as it rolls over hills and ramps. The goal is to reach the end of each course without crashing. The terrain is uneven, with sudden dips and sharp peaks that can easily flip you. Momentum matters; too much speed on a landing will send you over the handlebars. The game moves at a steady clip, and the physics feel loose, almost bouncy. It creates a cycle of small adjustments and occasional spectacular failures. Playing it feels like constantly correcting a mistake you're about to make.
