About Project First Strike
You control a lone soldier, moving from room to room. Your main goal is to shut down a series of nuclear reactors deep inside a facility. Moment to moment, you're clearing these tight spaces, firing at drones and turrets that appear from doorways and alcoves. The mouse aims your weapon, and clicking fires, which gives the action a direct, point-and-click feel. You have to manage your movement carefully to avoid enemy fire while lining up your shots. The pacing is constant, with little downtime between encounters, and the difficulty comes from the confined spaces and the number of targets. It feels like a methodical sweep through a hostile, automated complex.
