About President Rescue
President Rescue was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared on portals like Newgrounds, where simple concepts and quick gameplay were the norm. The premise was direct, dropping you into a scenario without much setup.
You control a single soldier viewed from above, moving through compact rooms and corridors. Your objective is to eliminate every enemy terrorist on each floor to proceed. You click to move and click again to fire your weapon at enemies, who shoot back with predictable patterns. The rooms are small, so combat happens at close range, and you often have to lure enemies into doorways or use corners for cover. The pace is methodical, as rushing usually gets you killed. It feels like a cautious, room-by-room sweep where a single mistake can force a restart.
