Pirate Launch

You control a pirate in a small, wheeled ship. With a click, you fire a cannon to launch yourself forward, trying to cover as much distance as possible. The ship skids along the ground after landing, and you have to constantly adjust its balance with your mouse to keep it upright. If it tips too far, it sinks and the run ends. The money you earn from each attempt lets you buy upgrades for your cannon power or hull strength, making subsequent launches go farther. The pacing is quick, with each attempt lasting only a few seconds, but the gradual upgrades give it a persistent hook. It feels like a constant battle between a sudden, explosive launch and a tense, wobbly recovery.
