About Parachute Retrospect
Parachute Retrospect was one of those simple, absorbing games from the Flash era. You would find it on a gaming portal between classes or during a slow afternoon, a quick distraction built on a clear premise. It didn't try to be anything more than that, and that was its appeal.
You control a helicopter moving steadily across the top of the screen. Your job is to time the release of parachutists so they land safely on the moving trucks below. You press left or right to position the helicopter, and hit spacebar to drop a jumper. The challenge comes from the trucks shifting speed and direction; a mistimed drop sends your jumper into the water or onto the road. The pace is steady, but the margin for error shrinks as you progress. It feels like a quiet test of precision, where a single button press carries all the weight.
