About Outback Air Mail

Outback Air Mail was one of those simple, clever games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying puzzle, and that was its charm. You'd load it up in a browser window, and for a few minutes, you were managing a very unusual postal service.

You control a small plane flying over a sparse Australian landscape. Your job is to deliver mail by dropping it onto the correct animals waiting below. A kangaroo might need a letter, while an emu waits for a package. The challenge comes from managing your limited cargo and the plane's momentum; you have to line up your approach carefully, release the mail at just the right moment, and then swing around to pick up more from your base. The pacing is steady, but it gets trickier as more animals appear in harder-to-reach places. It feels like a calm, focused task of logistics and timing, where a perfect drop is its own quiet reward.
