About Operation Overdom
Operation Overdom was one of those Flash games you'd find buried in a directory around 2005. It didn't have the polish of bigger titles, but it had a specific, quiet kind of appeal for a certain afternoon. You played a CIA agent, and the premise was straightforward: gather intelligence without being seen.
You control the agent from a top-down perspective, navigating through office corridors and rooms. The arrow keys move you, and your main task is to collect documents scattered around the map. The challenge comes from patrolling guards. If one spots you, the mission ends. This forces you to watch their patrol patterns, time your movements, and sometimes hide in alcoves or behind furniture. The pacing is slow and deliberate, turning each corner into a small decision. It feels like a tense, quiet game of cat and mouse played in a maze of cubicles.
