About Nascar Cup

Nascar Cup was one of those straightforward 3D racers you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be a simulation, just a quick game you could load in a browser. The graphics were simple, the tracks were basic ovals, and it captured that specific feeling of early web gaming.

You control a single stock car from a top-down perspective. The moment-to-moment play is about managing speed through the turns and finding a clean line on the straightaways. Your main objective is to finish first across a series of races to win the championship. The mechanics are familiar: you use the arrow keys to steer and accelerate, you can draft behind other cars for a speed boost, and you have to avoid spinning out by not turning too sharply. The pacing is fast, and the AI opponents are aggressive, often bumping you into the wall if you give them an opening. It feels like a tense, slightly chaotic scramble for position every single lap.
