About Motorama
Motorama was one of those physics-based driving games that felt right at home during the Flash era. You'd find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and within seconds you were trying to keep a little vehicle upright. It had that simple, direct appeal common to many games from that time, where the core idea was everything.
You control a motorbike and rider, using the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and tilt forward or backward. The moment-to-moment play is a constant fight against gravity and uneven terrain. Your main objective is to reach the finish line of each side-scrolling level without crashing. The game gives you tools to manage this, like adjusting your rider's center of mass to prevent flipping over on a steep hill. Later, you can even build your own tracks, setting parameters for the slope and frequency of jumps. The pacing is deliberate, demanding careful input rather than speed, and the difficulty comes from learning how the bike's weight shifts. It feels like a hands-on experiment in balance and momentum.
