About Monkey Taxi

Monkey Taxi was one of those simple, frantic games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, the kind you'd play between classes or during a short break. The premise was immediately clear, and you were thrown right into the action without much setup.

You control a small taxi, driving it left and right across a single street. Your goal is to pick up monkey passengers who appear on the sidewalks, then drop them off at the correct colored buildings. The police cars are the main obstacle; if they touch you, you lose a passenger. The steering feels loose, making sharp turns a little unpredictable as you dodge traffic. It starts calmly enough, but the pace picks up as more police arrive and the passenger targets get further apart. The game creates a tense, silly rhythm of grabbing, dodging, and delivering before your cab gets swarmed.
