About Mission Midwinter
Mission Midwinter was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, browser based holiday distractions. You played as Santa Claus on a delivery run.
You control Santa's sleigh with your mouse, guiding it over rooftops. Your main job is to drop presents down chimneys for the good houses and lumps of coal for the bad ones. The mechanics are about precision and timing; you have to line up the drop just right, and sometimes avoid obstacles like birds. The pace is steady, but it gets trickier as you go, with more houses to sort and less room for error. It feels like a quiet, focused task against a night sky.
