Mind Your Marbles

You control a cursor that places colored marbles into a grid. The main objective is to prevent the grid from filling up by creating lines. You form rows or columns of five or more marbles of the same color, and they vanish. The mechanics involve careful placement to set up chain reactions; dropping one marble can cause several lines to clear at once. The pace starts slow but builds steadily as new rows of marbles push up from the bottom, adding pressure. It feels like a quiet race against a slowly rising tide, where a single well-considered move can turn a crowded board back into open space.
