About Master Shosho
Master Shosho was one of those simple, single-screen games that felt typical of the Flash era. You'd find it on a portal site, load it in a browser, and play for a few minutes between other tasks. The presentation was straightforward, with clean graphics and a clear goal that didn't require a manual.
You control a round, cheerful character, guiding him left and right across the bottom of the screen. Food items fall from above, and you must position him to catch them. It's not just about collection; some falling objects are not food and must be avoided with a quick tap to make him duck. The main objective is to fill his hunger meter by catching enough of the right items before time runs out. The pace starts leisurely but gradually increases, demanding sharper reflexes as more objects clutter the screen. The game feels like a pleasant test of focus and timing, where a moment's hesitation means a missed meal.
