About Mario Tetris 3

Mario Tetris 3 was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the mid-2000s. It was a simple, straightforward take on the familiar puzzle formula, dressed up with characters and items from the Mario universe. You didn't need to download anything; you just clicked and started playing, which was the main appeal of those browser-based classics.

You control the falling blocks, which are shaped like familiar items from Mario games, such as mushrooms or stars. Using the arrow keys, you shift them left and right, rotate them, and drop them into place. The main goal is to clear horizontal lines by filling them completely, which makes them disappear and gives you points. Sometimes a special block, like a Koopa shell, might fall and clear multiple rows at once when you place it correctly. The game starts slow, giving you time to think, but the speed increases steadily as your score climbs. It feels like a comfortable, slightly personalized version of a puzzle game you already know.
