About Mahjong Tower
Mahjong Tower was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel. It was simply a digital version of the classic tile-matching solitaire, clean and straightforward, meant for a few minutes of quiet focus between other tasks.
You control a cursor, clicking on free tiles to match them. A tile is free if nothing is stacked on top of it and at least one of its long sides is open. Your goal is to clear the entire three-dimensional tower, layer by layer. The mechanics are familiar: you search for identical pairs, and each match removes those tiles, often revealing new ones underneath. The game starts gently, but as the tower shrinks, the options narrow, requiring more foresight. The pacing is methodical, a slow peel-back of layers that can suddenly become tense when you're down to the last few tiles. It feels like patiently solving a spatial puzzle where every click matters.
