Maganic Wars 2

Maganic Wars 2 was a game from the Flash era, one of many you might find on a gaming portal. It came out in 2008. The developer was a studio called Maganic Interactive. It fit right in with other strategy games of that time, built for quick sessions in a web browser.

You control a wizard, using your mouse to select and play cards from a hand. Each card represents a spell or a creature you can summon onto the battlefield. The main objective is to reduce your opponent's health to zero before they do the same to you. You manage your mana each turn, deciding whether to play a defensive card or launch an attack. The pacing is deliberate, with turns allowing for some planning, but the difficulty can spike if your opponent builds a strong board presence. It feels like a condensed duel, where a single card can shift the entire match.
