About Mafia Rush

Mafia Rush was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared on many gaming portals, a simple title you could load and play in a browser without much fuss. The premise was clear from the start.

You control a lone police officer in a top-down city. Your job is to chase down gangsters who appear on the streets. You move with the arrow keys, weaving between buildings and other obstacles. The spacebar fires your weapon at the nearest target. Each level presents a specific number of criminals to eliminate, shown by a counter. You have to watch your health, as taking too many hits from enemy fire ends the game. The pacing is quick, with new enemies spawning regularly to keep you moving. It feels like a constant, hectic scramble across blocky urban grids.
