Los Simpsons

You control Bart Simpson, running through a side-scrolling Springfield. The moment-to-moment play is frantic. You punch and kick your way past a stream of characters from the show, from Principal Skinner to Sideshow Bob. Your main goal is to get home, fighting through each neighborhood to reach 742 Evergreen Terrace. The mechanics are straightforward. You use the mouse to aim and click to shoot your slingshot at certain targets, like balloons or objects in the environment. There's also a basic combo system for your melee attacks. The pacing is fast, and it can get surprisingly difficult as more enemies swarm the screen. It feels like a chaotic, slightly janky scramble through a familiar cartoon world.
