About Kakato Otoshi
Kakato Otoshi was one of those odd little physics games that popped up during the Flash era. You would find it on sites packed with simple, quick diversions, the kind you played for a few minutes between other tasks. It didn't have a complicated story or elaborate graphics. It presented a straightforward, peculiar premise and let you run with it.
You control a hammer, swinging it with a mouse click to chip away at the blocks supporting a woman's high-heeled shoes. The goal is to remove all the blocks and make her fall, but you have to be careful. Hit a block dead center, and it shatters cleanly. Strike it off-center, and the entire structure wobbles, the woman teetering precariously before sometimes regaining her balance. The game moves quickly, demanding precise clicks as the stack becomes increasingly unstable. It feels like a tense, slightly absurd game of Jenga where you are both architect and demolition crew.
